Did anyone watch?

we watched at the Arlington OTB, we had strip cards going, and I was set to win as long as the kicker made a 35 yard field goal from the middle of the field...a time out was called, to set the kicker up, then the other team called a timeout when the kick was about to be done. The kicker than lined up, and the game clock started running and they didnā€™t snap it before the 11 seconds ran off the clock....wtf!? Apparently the game clock starts after a time out during the 2 min warning? We were watching on mute so we had no idea what the fuck was going on.

that being said, the football was bad. Dudes that canā€™t catch the ball, defense that cant tackle, guys with no idea WTF theyā€™re supposed to be doing. Soooooo many blown coverages, so much ineptitude. Thereā€™s a reason these guys arenā€™t in the NFL

Goodnight, sweet prince.

XFL files for bankruptcy

"The XFL filed for bankruptcy and will not return for the 2021 season, according to a Chapter 11 filing on Monday.

The move marks a sudden end to World Wrestling Federation CEO Vince McMahon's second attempt at creating a spring football league.

The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc on sports across the world. Almost all major American sports saw their seasons postponed or canceled last month as the outbreak spread across the country, prompting stay-at-home orders in most states.

The XFL saw mixed results after launching the season in February. Attendance approached 20,000 people per game across the league's eight teams, with ratings relatively strong out of the gate. But those numbers faded as the season moved on."
