why do you want this all to be made up so bad? it makes for a much much worse movie.

I don't want it all to be made up. But some things point to that it might be the case. Or a large part of it. Just discussing options.

I'll probably go see it again to look more closely at things and clues that might be in the movie.

The visions (more like a fantasy) that he had throughout the movie were all happy and positive.

Ok, maybe not in a "vision" or false reality, but he saw in his mind and acted out like he would kill himself on the show. As he did when he practiced in the apartment.

Assuming he wasn't dead after the fridge deal.

I'm also seeing folks bitching that the movie sucks because it rips off (poorly) other movies...such as taxi driver.

Ive heard King of Comedy more than Taxi Driver. And of that, I would agree the endings both sound very similar.

Wow, I'll go out and say maybe one of the darkest movies ever.

So good. The only things in his head were what they showed you. No way the whole movie was fantasy.

His portrayal of Joker was fantastic.

Loved every minute of it
