General Information

I am now the 3rd owner of this 1,960 mile 2020 Twister Orange cookie cutter GT. It is a premium 401a car with performance pack, A10, active exhaust, Recaro seats, and the Bang & Olufson sound system. Car has the digital instrument cluster which I love!

A little history on the car....first owner bought the car and brought it to Lebanon Ford @122 miles. Lebanon Ford then installed a Whipple stage 2 kit, id1050x injectors, MMR billet oil pump and crank gears, and the Corsa active exhaust. This owner sold the car in May of last year with about 700 miles.

Owner 2 is a total gear head. Guy has worked for ZF Group for 25+ years and his hobby is building street cars. The shop he had on his property was fricken awesome. Id say it was about 50' x 100' and had 3 lifts with an upstairs office loft. Anyways, this guy bought the car and installed a Fore fuel system, 3.15 pumpkin, TSP longtubes, and some BMR vertical links and cradle lockout. He then had Lund tune it with an nGuage. Says he had it at the track in October and it went 9.8 @ 146 on a 2nd gear leave.

My immediate plans are to lower it about an inch, and get some street wheels. I kept my old Billet Specialties drag setup so Im good there. Next winter I'll have the A10 built and turn it up a bit.

Got this code for the second time last night. Car goes into limp mode and will barely run until I turn it off and clear the DTC.

Did some searching and it seems like it’s a fairly common issue with the Whipple 132mm TB. Whipple support told me to pull it, use and anaerobic gasket maker, and then I need to adjust the stop. Removed it today so I’ll stop on the ride home tomorrow to grab the gasket maker. I will say Whipple customer support is insanely good. I emailed them this morning and got a response within 15 mins and have been going back and forth with them all day to better understand what is going on. If I still have the issue after this, they told me to reach back out with the blower serial #, so I’m betting at that point they’d be sending me a new TB.

Also got lit up by Algonquins finest last night going to the Rookies cruise night. My son had fun with it?

Not really sure. I was first in line at a light on Randall, got up to about 20, and then gave her half throttle to 60 and let off. Cop came swerving through traffic like I just robbed a bank, got about an inch off my ass and lit me up. Cop comes to car and asks me how I'm doing and I say great, then I proceed to apologize for how fucking loud the car is and he says that wasn't the problem. He then starts on about chirping tires and fish tailing....I stop him right there and let him know that there was absolutely ZERO chirping of tires or fishtailing. He then said he thought he heard them chirp...lol.

Guy turned out to be pretty nice and claimed to have a Cobrah back in the day. Most likely a Terminator if he's pulling me over for some BS! :ROFLMAO:

He also politely asked me to stay off Randall Rd, to which I replied I will not, and will be traveling Northbound on my ride back home. He ran my license and let me go.

Im trying, gotta catch up at the shop. Stopped taking appointments a long ways back, was almost two months out, and falling way to far off schedule. I should be caught back up, to where i can start scheduling stuff in end of july, beginning of Aug.

Stopped by the VatoZone and they don’t carry any anaerobic gasket maker. Had to order off Amazon and it won’t be here till Friday??

Its just clearing up the lift, so i can get yours on to do it. I should be back on track towards the end of the month if you can wait, im about 10 cars too many here right now, mostly heavy work too which sucks.

Don't forget to send the 93/E85 tune tomorrow so I can start running 93 in this bitch in preparation for the dyno tune.

Yea man not a problem. I’ll probably only drive it once more between now and then anyways.
