Decided to go to the track last night and see how bad I could fuck it up...lol. It was my first time to the track in 6 years and the first with this car. Definitely learned a few things, mainly the car needs a gear swap and bias plys.

Got 4 clean runs in and every pass that I shifted right at 8k and bounced the limiter a touch before the traps, was 140mph. Best 60' was a 1.67 and ran a 10.5, but on that pass I decided to lower my shifts to about 7500 and shift into 5th so I think I left some ET and definitely mph on the table that pass.

Need some slicks and 6k, 2 step launch lol
Yea for sure, but now I have to think if all the extra work is worth chasing a number at the strip. Car runs like an animal on the street.

So basically, Im looking at some tires, gear swap, and possibly one size down on the pulley to make an honest 15psi, and a ton of seat time to get a 9 second slip with a banger. Would be pretty cool to say i can run 9's with a stick, but we'll see...

Great times , definitely makes power to trap 140mph . Front feed Whipples make crazy power on gen2 Coyote motors . How much boost are you running?
14 psi with current pulley. I think its definitely got a good 2-4 mph in it with just a gear swap. Leaving it in 4th, I was tagging the limiter before the traps.

Yesterday was a good learning experience to find out what the car needs to run the number its capable of. All I need is a couple small tweaks and someone that can drive...lol

Then the trans will start falling apart and suspension components will be broken. More expensive game at the strip.

Awesome, you have to be around 850-900rwhp
I honestly dont think its over 850. Most people are around 820-840 with my setup. If I pulley down one more size then for sure 850ish.

Yea you're exactly right. Thats why im gonna think long and hard about if I want to chase a number.
What gears do you have now, 3.31's?
Factory 3.55's are in the car. It needs 3.31's, which I kind of already knew from others and doing a gear calculator.
