Lol, I had actually been trying to get the 5.13's done before our trip to Tennesee but the shop I was originally have install them kind of dicked me over. I will say even without regearing it rode and drove fine and I was actually kind of impressed with 16mpg on the stock gears... but I did end up taking it to Badgerland Offroad to have them install the 5.13's from Nitro Gears and now it feels back to stock.

it's like i can see the future :fyws: very nice

Why not a Colorado z71? Maybe I missed it but better mpg and more power than a Tacoma and presumably better buy in.

As long as you do 33/35’s and a mild lift I think it’s the way to go for what you’re looking for. They look fucking lame bone stock if it’s not a rubicon.
I agree for the most part. I don't think the Overland alloys look bad, but the Sports I'm looking at are super wimpy. Something would need to be done eventually.

But you got a welder and some tools right? Just do this, you can make the hardtop removable along the way if you want: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1984-volvo-240-pickup/

And holy hell 16MPG on 4.5" lift and 40s is damn impressive.
Lol I usually hate how these turn out, but this one isn't terrible. If utes weren't totally incapable of towing other cars I would wish that they came back to the states. I think the wagon is a lot more useful than an El CaminVO though.

You can run the 33" tires or 35" tires and they still ride great. I have 35" tires on 20" wheels on my JL Wrangler and it makes them look so much better.
