He built mine, I took it to the track (maybe days later) and the input shaft snapped...because he put in the shit one and not the good one. Trans was taken apart and iirc, daturbosix daturbosix said everything looked stock.
Damn, that is interesting. I never tore into mine. When he built mine it was the 3rd trans I had put in that car and called it quits after that.

That’s the plan, I don’t want to ever have to replace it again, I just want it to be a maintenance item going forward. I don’t plan to track the car too much, just a fun street car.

Dropped the trans off with Carl@Redline Carl@Redline last week. Looking forward to seeing all the Circle D billet parts that are going into it.

While we’re at it, I’ll be freshening up the rear end with a new ring and pinion as well as upgrading to a carbon fiber drive shaft from drive shaft shop.

This went 0-100 real quick lol
I seent that. ?
I touched it. Softly and gentle-like.

I'm curious if Carl takes a different approach on clutches and things like that? When I asked my buddy about doing up a trans for my '10, he said they basically did a stock rebuild, so I thought if that was the case I might as well just buy a low mile stock takeout and swap that when the time comes.
