Jaguar XFR-S Detail

Over the past weekend I had the pleasure of detailing this beautiful Jaguar XFR-S. The client chose my 2 step paint correction service. I also did a full interior detail. Steam cleaned and conditioned all of the leather surfaces and steamed the carpets.

This was the second time I've used my Flex 3401 (coming from a RUPES 21). I LOVE it! Way better than the RUPES.

Tools and Equipment used:
Vehicle was washed with a foamer
Paint was prepped with a Nano Skin Autoscrub
Flex 3401
6" Chemical Guys Orange Medium Cutting Pad
AMMO Leveling Fluid. I started with M105, but it hazes to much.
AMMO Jewelers Polish
Zaino Z5 Show Car Polish/Wax. Applied with Griots Garage DA and 6 in Red waxing pad.
Turtle Wax Chrome Polish
Glass was polished with Griots Garage Glass Polish and Glass Polishing Pad.
Griots Garage Wheel and Tire cleaners
Dupray Tosca Steam Cleaner
Various Bores Hair Brushes

Great job on the car, I need to get me one of those Flex polishers bad. Have you ever used a Porter Cable DAP and if so how does the Flex compare to it?

Never tried a Porter Cable. The first machine I have ever used to do paint corrections was the Griots Garage DA. I then moved to the RUPES, and now the Flex. The Flex is the best out of the three by far.

I had to troll XFR's on ebay whaddya know they have a blue one just like this one forsale....

Hell even the Supercharged non R versions make like 470 hp.....

Wonder why in the hell you don't see more around? Even when I was living in Washington DC I rarely seen Jags. The SC 5.0 versions can be had a tad over 30k for a damn nice low mileage one.

Gotta love depreciation!!

And here is the kicker, the non r supercharged v-8 (SV8 470hp, the xf-r (510 hp)and xf-rs (560 hp) all have the same exact engine. Its just a tune.
I added a pulley to to my SV8 (non-r) and now match the R for speed.
All of the supercharged cars are the same aside from different front seats in the R and RS and the hood and front fascia.
