Nice ride! Always liked the earlier front ends better than the catfishes. The optispark and the tpi not so much.
Not sure what spline you'll need for the lt1 but the 80s s10 converter stalls at 2375 and did wonders for the 4l60e in my 3800 bird. Vette servo is also a must if it doesn't already have one. Gettin both was a lil over 200 bucks and trans feels strong af behind comparable hp.
Sounds like somebody took a stock converter to the tranny shop lol. 2800 to 3200 would be nice but the drivability at 2400 stays pretty tame from the little I've got to drive mine. All kinda depends on what your cams gonna need and it sounds like your pretty lopey. That being said I thinkkkk the sbc stuff is the same converter pattern at 10.75 but somebody else would definitely know better than I. And if it's quality built it'll probably take hits better without ballooningprevious owner has this and I can probably get a good deal on it, what’s TCG say?
