💦 Detailing is fixing paint chips and dings part of detailing?

some places will "airbrush"

which is kind of a half-ass way of fixing it... because the clear coat isn't "right"

Some do, some don't, but its rarely included in a detail. I would touch up some rock chips if the customer provided the paint, but it sucks and never looks right. Sometimes better before the touchup. It does help to get a set of tiny brushes and add a couple drops of thinner to the paint though.

full repaint seems extreme... like the other person said, post some pics, not super close but a good distance away.
