I had one also I bought it new in 04 or 05 it was a pretty good all around car peppy and fun, the only real issue i had with mine was the shift knob falling off not really an issue just confusing when its dark out and something lands in your lap

the ions only had the SC.

the cobalt had the SC from 05-07. then had a turbo from 08+

the turbo cars have more power, respond much better to tunes, have different shocks, larger clutch, brembo front brakes, and a different gear ratio'd transmission. they are all around better for comparison sake.

I don't remember lol, it was one of those cars I only kept for a year and traded into the Mitsubishi dealer in Naperville mine was blue and an 04 only mod was a cold air intake
