I recently started my position as Regional Product Manager for Saleen. And I am located here in NW burbs. If you know of any dealers who would be interested in representing Saleen, let me know that too. This year marks the 30th Anniversary
for Saleen and Steve is back in charge of his company. There will be several limited edition cars like the 351Extreme being introduced at Knott's Berry Farm
on the 21st. 50 examples of this model are ready for delivery starting in May.

Whoa. they are still around? Have not seen a Saleen in YEARS.

Didn't really like the S-197 versions of them but to each their own.

You can think of it as a re-launch. An investor group took over Saleen a few years ago and ran the place into the ground. Now Steve is working to re-launch it. Pretty exciting. I never realized Saleen was responsible for the development, engineering, and manufacture of the Ford GT for instance. Also built some Vipers. Had a chance to ride in an S7, which was incredible because it was in
LeMans configuration. 650hp at 2800lbs. Awesome.

Good to hear. I always liked Saleen's cars. I still have my 89 Saleen though it is headed toward antique status

Heritage Edition cars celebrating late 60's Trans Am cars. There's supposed to be a successor to the S7 which is supposed to be similar to the S5 Raptor. We'll see. Frankly, I would just love to have a Ford GT.
