If its just wires then cut and extend them. Make sure to use thick wire. Lots of electrical tape. Use only the best electrical tape (3M makes some good stuff). If in doubt I would go and purchase new electrical tape.

you can extend the wires on the car's harness, not the sensor wires. if you extend the sensor wires you will get an insufficient switch code.

I have a extra 02 Extension. Ive searched for a local place to buy a denso sensor with no avail. Most places can order one, but no one has them in stock. You can buy a AC Delco at the dealer. It is Saturday and most dealer parts counters are probably closed.

NEVERr attempt to extend the SENSOR wires, but the harness side is NBD...please don't go half-ass and use electrical tape, you need to use shrink-wrap; even better if you can get the stuff with the glue in it.

If you can get a premade extension even better.

You can extend them but I'd just order an extension from zzp. You should see it pretty quick.


I would not run with the after cat o2 only. The first o2 is very important to your a/f.

That would be quite a hike from Elmwood Park to Mundelein. You would also have to call right now.

If not, ZZP shipping is pretty fast. I would not recommend running the car with no front O2.

You need the front O2.

I once rode on the roof of an IH scout drinking beer with a couple of chicks.

I didn't get a ticket....but the driver got a shitload!

Best part was when the cop asked him if there was any beer in the car (of course he said no) and a beer fell over, leaking though the rust holes in the floorboards onto the ground.

We weren't trying to throw him under a bus or anything, but we all busted out laughing.

I would never reccomend anyone ever do this, but it was pretty fun. I won't go into the whole story, but it did happen...

Yeah, the cheaper the headers, the worse the install. I've done a lot of header installs, so I know just about all the tricks. They get easier the more you do, but the first is the hardest.
