It's meh. The 117 isn't that powerful for what it should be or at least what a S&S engine of simular size would make (120tq/120hp). The white & black 18 street Bob like Rusty Butcher made don't look too bad imo.
I prefer the "Club style" look myself. Still have a ways to go with my bike. Got it like this minus the quarter fairing that I added. Never liked harleys myself but got into these Dyna's recently, harsh when I found out they discontinued them.
1HP per cubic inch is what should be expected. Anyone know how much HP the 117 puts out on the dyno?
It's not too hard to make that power with even the TC motors. My Fuel Moto 107 put down 115/128 to the tire. The new M8 motors are doing very well with aftermarket parts. A cam only M8 will make about what my bike does.According to this they are claiming 93 hp & 112 tq. Which isn't impressing to me. I recently owned a Softail with a 113 S&S engine with 11:1 compression. Had the 600 cam and pulled like raped ape. S&S claimed around 115hp/tq for that combo. Which was believable the way it ran. And I believe those engines go for around $6k.
