I use Cholula Chipotle on damn near everything. The wife goes for regular Cholula after years of conditioning her to eat anything spicy at all. I love hot sauce though, I have like 20-30 on hand.

A little off topic but for my fellow heat seekers, I recommend flat iron pepper if you want hot pepper flakes. Tons of variety. I put it on pizza, pasta, etc. so good.
Which one(s) do you use? I bought their Sweet Heat version in late 2022 and I'm just about out. I liked it as it was hotter than the normal pepper flakes I had been buying. But it has a good flavor profile. I was thinking of trying another version so your post had good timing. lol

I use a bunch as different peppers work better for different foods imo. This Kimsa Quinn is awesome though for a kick of heat.

Garlic one is decent but they have another version that is better with jalapeño instead of chipotle.

Cant feel my face I use sparingly. It’s hot, but not impossible.

Dark and Smokey I like to use on things like burgers.

I can see pairing them with certain foods for sure. I was looking at getting more of the Sweet Heat, Dark & Smokey and the Jalapeño, roasted garlic, and toasted onion. Maybe I'll get that Kimsa Quinn as well. I don't like burning in my mouth, so I'll probably skip the I Can't Feel My Face. lol

We went through the jalapeño, garlic, and onion in like a month. No joke. We were putting it on everything. It was so good. The only reason I don’t have any now is that it was sold out when I placed my last order.

Dexter Holland from The Offspring has his own hot sauce called Gringo Bandito. I have just has the green and it is really good. A co-worker bought it from the Volo Woodman's but the C-Ville Woody's doesn't have it.

He used to do a Private Reserve release every winter of a one off batch and he'd autograph it. I have them all.

Unfortunately he stopped doing it....but the regular Gringo Bandito is definitely good.

Did you get any yet?
I did. I went with some of their milder stuff as I have a bunch of hotter stuff in my cabinet still. They just showed up today. I just ate a dash of each to try them out.

The jalapeño, garlic, and roasted onion is fantastic.

The Calabrian seems like it would replace the typical crushed red chili pepper I would buy. It is similar with a nicer flavor

Green hatch chili was good. About what I expected it to be, something like a Tomatillo salsa.

The dark & and smokey BBQ rub was good too. That will be a good rub for poultry.

UC Biber was out of stock. Next month I'll order that and more of the jalapeños, garlic, and roasted onion.

The garlic one is insane isn’t it? They nailed the balance of flavor and heat.

From licking some off my palm, yes. I enjoy garlic, onions and roasted jalapeño. So this one is right up my alley. I'm excited to try it with food. haha

That is the kind of spice I enjoy. I can enjoy the flavors that are in it while enjoying some of that heat. Perfect.

When the heat makes you forget the other good aspects of the spice, or hot sauce, what's the point? Enhance the flavor, not cause pain. 😂

I don't use the Scoville scale when rating hot sauces. I use the how long it takes for your pee pee to burn after you eat hot ass wings then take a piss method. Lol
Ya, I don't need that in my life. I play it on the safe side. haha

If it includes Pepper X, Scotch Trinidad, Ghost Pepper, Viper, or any of those crazy hot peppers, nah man, I'm good. :ROFLMAO:

I was eating a burger one time and it had a ghost pepper infused bun. First off. I got halfway through it before I got a box and called it... I then had to piss... As I was walking back to my booth I felt this sensation coming on... I ended up pouring my water on a few napkins and packed it in my boxers on the way home.

^ This. Things I don't need in my life. hahaha

I have had some nice infused stuff; although pretty hot, it was tasty. I am sure the amount of insanely hot pepper wasn't high. But no issues. But I have tried stuff where it's painful to eat the first point. What's the point? Nothing good will come from that. I also don't have a stomach like I did when I was younger. I had tonsils removed as an adult. I think the scar tissue from that causes me problems with really hot stuff. It causes pain and me to cough. I know my limits. lol

Crosstown in Naperville had a hot wing challenge that you had to sign a waver. A buddy did it. I took one small bite and was in pain. He loved hot challenges. He ate like 4 or 5 of the 12 wings and stopped. He was in pain. Like really in pain. I think he threw up three times before we left. Then said he was throwing up and in pain for two or three more days. He was almost ready to go to the hospital the next morning. Fuck all of that.
