Cliff notes? Second one is over an hour long.
the tournament director basically knows the fish on the lake. he saw the fish and figured they would be 5 lb each and would total around 25 lbs. They totaled 33+lbs instead. He said there was also suspicion because all the other teams donate their fish to a local group that butcher them and use them for food for homeless shelters and such. This particular team never donates the fish. the crowd was calling BS as soon as they were weighed. Tournament director picked up the largest fish and felt it to be sure they were not dead frozen fish or anything strange. He felt a hard lump in the fish and immediately asked someone to get him a knife. Cut it open and weights and fillets fell out. apparently they were using the fillets to try and soften the belly so it was not apparent there were lead weights shoved in there but yeah that didn't work out soo well.

also - The assistant Director and others that were there are Law enforcement officers. They immediately called local law enforcement and told the Director to get the cheaters out of here asap for their safety and have law enforcement deal with them outside of the event. there was a major concern things would turn from simple shouting to violence quickly.

I kind of wonder how these guys weren't caught before honestly. I hate to say that but it seems like either some people were in on it besides them or the previous judges were idiots.

Also He said in that interview that them not donating the fish was strange but he figured they may be taking them home to eat instead but was unsure of them as they had won more than half the events for the year but was always a tight finish. its not unheard of for a team to just be good at catching fish. I think these two idiots just went overboard with the weights and got caught.
