This popped up because one of my all time favorite Anime's original theatrical film negative was discovered, and recently remastered in 4K. Project Ako from 1986. God I love that movie. I'm expecting with the Bluray now I'll find even more Easter eggs.

I miss hand drawn Anime, I never really enjoyed the CG Flat shaded look of anything from the 2000's on.

It was officially made to parody things. The first time I saw it I thought it was hilarious. The stolen characters from every other anime.

Its on Rightstuff for $20, I picked it up the second I found it.
