If you disconnect an AFC completely, do you have to put it back ?

Just as the title states, I disconnected my afc completely to clean the connectors as well as open it up to make sure there wasnt water in it or something... So now I am going to put it back on my car, but I am curious if it resets itself to 100 or if it is still going to be at the scaling value that I had it set at before I disconnected it.
