OK guys Im looking for opinions on the ICCU mount.
What angle would be best for this?
iliveonitro suggested angling it towards the driver. What would be the best angle for glare and visibility. There are two basic options, I can angle in straigt ahead, so its facing your gear selector, or I can angle it upwards toward the driver.
Angling it straight ahead will be the easiest and quickest mount to produce. Angling it towards the driver will be somewhat dificult for the first one, but would be easier after that. It will take more time and work, so it would cost more than a straight forward mount.
Also, if I angled it, it would look boxy and stick out. It wouldnt cover from side to side in the cubby hole, similar to the gauge pod pics I have. It woud be more biased towards the driver side. It would look similar to a cigarrette box on its side, pointing towards the driver.
I am fine with making either one or both for people. I am just looking for ideas. Do you want it to be sticking out of the cubby a little, or recessed into it. The straight forward design would basically just be replacing the gauges with the ICCU. Just a basic plate to mount it to.
Ideas....Ideas...Ideas
PS: Sorry about the delays, I just finished my last day of work for the semester yesterday. So now I can work on these during the weekends. My weeks are packed with school, but weekends are good for working on these. Thank you for your patience.
