It's freezing balls and I can't get shit done with my garage being 30*.
Looking for someone who can run a gas line (crawl space and laundry room with gas dryer are really close) and then install a direct vented heater. I'll buy the heater but need someone to do the gas line and vent.
Fucking COLD in here! I had a torpedo propane heater and my 220 electric heater on and after 1 hour it went from 32 to 44. Not really ideal for me.
I'm also in Lake villa.

Yeah, what size is the pipe and how long is the run? That is your biggest obstacle, making sure you have enough gas.

I am sure it’s easy but I never messed with a natural gas line so rather leave it to someone who knows more than I do.
I have way too many vapors and fumes in the garage that I rather not play games with

You are going to want a concentric vent then. Only combusts on outside air.

I have this installed through the roof

I think Direct Vent is just vent so it combusts air in the garage and vents it out.

Are you in it or you leave it up all the time?

I’ll check to see if December was much worse, I’m guessing it will be up , but should still be under 100

You can kinda see the heater upper left had corner. My walls are insulated but attic is not. And my doors suck ass. I plan to do attic this spring, doors I dunno. But that would greatly improve the efficiency of it.

It’s vented out back wall btw

Mine goes up and down the the programmable thermostat. 45 all day then goes up to 60 before the wife goes to work. Then I just manually turn it up and down as needed.

There is an outside portion unless you ventless?

Cut a hole and keep going.

Sealing up the hole in the roof fought be more than I'd care to admit
