Me and my nephew doing the Paqui challenge. Cliff notes: I cried.

My brother in law had a couple of those chips this past weekend at his daughter's birthday party. I love spicy food, but I wimped out, and no one ended up eating one. I was reading reviews online and what deterred me from actually doing it was people writing how bad their stomach hurt after. I can live with the crying, nose running, profusely sweating, and mouth on fire.....but didn't want to have horrible stomach pains LOL!

Is it as bad as they say??

Yes. It sucked. Twice.

I did the first one just because. Told my boss about it when he started at my job a few months after I did the first one. He wanted to do it when the next chip came out, I mentioned it one day and instead of ordering 1 chip, he ordered a 10 pack, so that's why we did the 2nd one. It was brutal, stomach ached for at least a day and a half after doing it.

Peachy Ghost Pepper sauce! Made this last year and gave a few bottles away, was a big hit.

Just put all the ghost peppers that I've harvested on my grill on LOW to dehydrate so I can make some dried pepper flakes. I still have about 30-40 to harvest off my plant and make another batch of Peachy Ghost but with less Habanero as filler and more ghost (or same habanero but up the heat with extra ghost).

After about an 30 mins on low it started to get too hot, turned it off and moved my grill onto the patio in direct sunlight, it's staying pretty consistent around 150. Since it's just gonna sunny today and a little warmer, should be fine as long as it's in the sun all day.

Have any recipes. I'm growing ghost peppers and have no real use for them outside of making some sort of hot sauce.

I got my Peachy Ghost pepper recipe from a buddy who doesn't want me sharing his exact recipe.

This is pretty close to the recipe, give or take a few things.

No Scotch Bonnet or Green Peppers, mine uses habaneros and ghosts.
Mine has molasses and brown sugar instead of regular sugar and also includes cajun seasoning and dried chipotle peppers for smokiness.

Just made a batch of extra hot peachy ghost sauce. Less habanero than before (12 vs 20) and more ghost (12 vs 6). I also picked the 12 biggest ghosts from my harvest.

I still have enough ghost pepspers to do 4-6 more batches. I might need to order more bottles.

while making this batchI thought of a good hot sauce company name: blue sun sauces will have you seeing red!

Started to harvest my peppers. Still have some jalapeños to ripen, a few Serrano peppers still left on the plant. Picked most of the habanero but there’s still some left on the plant. None of the ghost peppers were picked yet. Soon.

Going to pickle the Serrano and Jalepeno, will make a peachy ghost with the habanero and ghost from the garden.
