Do the R8 coils make a noticeable difference? I remember I had 2.0 coils on my old 1.8t Passat and it really woke it up.
Didn't seem to feel a difference to be honest but I dropped a factory coil and replaced it at advance with one of theirs and then the next week another went so I said fuck it and got a 4 pack of plugs and coils from FCP euro. I want to do an intake, turbo muffler delete and maybe some cosmetic stuff but I'm happy with the car as it's just a nice daily to get me to and from work with better mpg than what we have otherwise haha so I need it to stay reliable. Maybe one day I'll have an S4. id want this body style and same interior and everything.

That's where I'm at with my allroad. I want to keep it reliable and the mpg but I've been fighting the itch to get it tuned.
I tuned my GLI through Unitronic, Stage 1+ and Stage 1 DSG. Still get 32-33MPG on my commute but it's a whole lot more fun to drive, and the transmission is slightly less retarded. I wouldn't hesitate to tune a VAG vehicle with one of the known names out there.
