My infinti G35 with 140k sudden has a problem.
I never had a PS problem so I don't know how to go about figuring it out.
-pump is clean and no leaks what so ever.
-fluid was not low or anything.
- steering is stiff as hell. When I turn. I have to wind it back to center.
- never had a noise from the pump ever
-newer serp belt installed so it's not slipping.
-no leaks or torn boots for the rack.
With engine, wheels in the air and someone turning the wheel from lock to lock. I didn't see much fluid moving in the reservoir.
What do u guys think? Is there a simple budget friendly way for me to test either. Definitely feels like the pump as I've had the car stall on me before and it feels similar.
