I’m possibly looking at another job and found their benefits package really underwhelming. For curiousities sake:

How long have you worked for your employer?

How much vacation do you accrue yearly?

How much sick time do you accrue yearly?

Or PTO if it’s all lumped into one bucket.

i did consulting and it was 4 or 5 weeks at accenture out of college, i think it's gone down from there though for me in general lol.

at us bank i should have negotiated but kind of just ignored it - 2 weeks. banks have holidays though (surprise days off for me) and i worked remotely an traveled while working.

i just left a consulting company that had unlimited unpaid time off. this makes sense given that it was hourly, so it was kinda like hey, no big deal if you don't work... but you ain't getting paid either...

i kinda figured that was how unlimited always worked. i'm now at a well funded and pretty mature startup where we get unlimited paid vacation, and the policy seems to basically be "hey, don't be an asshole, you're an adult"

7 Years
3 Weeks - Barely able to use them though
Sick time is deducted from your vacation time - Used 1 sick day in 7 years due to a back injurt
No rollover
I get 4 weeks at the 10 year mark.

Only been here since April. This year I got:

PTO/Sick days - 6 days
Vacation - 10 days.

Pretty sure that's prorated.

This is good for the company because when you leave they don't owe you anything and you can't accrue it for a big payout.

How long have you worked for your employer? 6 years

How much vacation do you accrue yearly? see below

How much sick time do you accrue yearly? 0

Or PTO if it’s all lumped into one bucket.

PTO currently get 10 days. next year i hit the max and i will get 12 days.

but we get 8 holiday days off, work decides them. and work shuts down from Christmas through new years, all paid time off. so this year, the 21st will be a half day, and we wont come back till the 2nd. although usually a small group of us come in and work a half day somewhere during that break. double time pay FTMFW on top of holiday pay.

Unlimited time off as long as manager approved and job is getting done. That starts on day 1.

Sounds great if you like to take a bunch of time off, but the company did it so when people are fired or quit they don't have to pay out the accrued time off.

I work for myself. I take days off when I need them. Can't always guarantee I make money on days off though. I try for a mini vacation every month though. Or do a lot of half days off since the mountains & lake aren't too far.

Another cushy gov job with a $25k raise

Vacation time is junk though. 2 weeks for the first 5 years.
