if you're buying used why have brand loyalty at all in this segment

get something clean with low hours and as much horsepower as you can

I don't really have brand loyalty but I like what suncatcher offers at this point. I started to look hard at 2017 and 2018's because I feel that's what I'll be buying when I'm ready to purchase. Performance to price ratio, they are perfect for me.

Our patented Elliptical Pontoons combined with lifting strakes, performance foils, solid round keels and under deck wave shield offer incredible two-tube performance. Each elliptical pontoon adds over 1,000 lbs. of additional buoyancy, allowing the boat to sit higher and run faster. The width of the elliptical pontoons also increases deck stability fore and aft as well as side to side.

going from that- with the oval outers, to this...

REQUIRES 25 INCH TRANSOM. Includes 3 full-length 25 IN diameter pontoons, lifting strakes on the center pontoon, performance foils inside outer pontoons, underdeck waive shield, SeaStar hydraulic steering and a 32 gallon transom fuel tank. Outer tubes use .80 gauge aluminum and the center tube is a combination of .80/.100 gauge aluminum.

Add's 700lbs to a 23' bennington, bringing it from 2300lbs to 3k lbs.

it's like, what's the equation for weight to horsepower... would a 2300lb boat with a 175hp engine run just as fast as a 3300lb boat with a 225? or what's the relation.

Those seem to be the upper level lines too. In 2017 they updated most of their boats but I have seen 2015ish middle trim level 22ft. tri toons in mid-low 20's but you have to travel.

I figured Panda would be all over Sunchasers, they are owned by Yamaha.

Also the hard part is finding a 200hp+ 22'er. Since the V-max 150 is the standard propulsion, they mostly tend to have that motor. 200-250 is a must for me.
