Well. I have spent pretty much every dollar that’s gone into this car with ZZP so I guess XP it is.

It’s just really weird if they are so close, why is the S1X fan base louder than the XP crowd is? They do have differences that you can see on a dyno correct?

Which one makes more average power and TQ?

A 3800 YouTuber named Terrill Smith was the first guy to reach out to me when I got my car. He really doesn’t care for the XP and he said that cam on his car barely touched 300 at the wheels. He has 4 3800’s with very different combos.

He posted some dyno slips that I have. One is an Intercooled VS car on E-85 (his brothers) the other is his wife’s Intercooled S1X car. The VS cammed car did 360.

His wife’s cut out at 125 (common problem I hear) and he intends on re dynoing the car.

I have been looking at these for clues because I know they were done on the same dyno on the same day (at ZZP) a couple months ago.

Looks to me like the VS with rockers is a damn good set up.

But you know that anything could have been done to make the VS car look better. I know the differences between the 2 (XP and S1X) can’t be much but if I had to guess, I wouldn’t think you’d notice behind the wheel.

The part that makes my head hurt is the difference in supporting mods both manufacturers recommend.

Looks like I’ll run everything ZZP recommends and see what happens.

Trust me, it’s crossed my mind. We’ll see how far I go on one of these off the shelf grinds. I have a really good head porter in Houston named Mark Konaric who id love to send some heads to. Really bad ass dude. It’s like he can see the air and has a calculator in his brain. lol

I bet he can get these 3800 heads flowing like some ported vortecs

You jerks have me looking at cars now, 4t80 swap seems easier than people have made it out to be, I mean if you have the duckets a stand alone with a 4l80 trans controller sounds like it would work for some years of transmissions, or just a manual shift set up
There’s a VERY clean low mile, southern rust free GTP f/s for 8k not far from me. I thought about picking it up just cause.

I bet they’ll come down on price. These are the only kind of cars I’ll buy. Clean, lower mile, stock. I don’t like messing with other peoples bs unless I know them and they aren’t hacks.
This is facts. Do NOT ever buy a modded car unless it comes from someone that knows what they're doing or your almost always paying for problems someone else got tired of fighting.

I’d be looking for a gxp, 4t80 swap turbo, cam stand alone engine management rip the entire fuel system out and run a cell with a big external pump air to water intercooler and an ice box

That’s probably exactly why I’m not seeing it. I did run across a few posts with Intense banning Zoomer for dumb reasons.

ZZP’s customer service might suck but at least they are still developing stuff, and they offer more.

Looks like Tim has the most power with an S1X but he also has more into it. The XP seems to do a little more more often.
