Houston PD update on the condition of the officers and some details including the IDs of the dead shooters. Officer mentions surveillance system and the news reports say it was a heroin raid which leads to New Now Houston asking questions. David from NNH is ex law enforcement and has problems with the location and the lack of police cameras.

First video is long. Skip the Dr. or skip most of the video if you don't want the officer updates (none will die. Some need surgeries). it's mainly about the condition of the officers with some of the raid discussed.

Police knew black tar heroin was being sold at the property, Acevedo said. He said officers found no heroin there Monday, but that they recovered marijuana, an unidentified white powder and two rifles.
NNH goes to the home and films.

NNH goes to a home with a very similar address and comments on it.

Did the police raid the wrong house?

David from NNH is a pretty good investigator and has exposed some crazy shit in the past, but this one made me sick. It seems pretty obvious that the cops raided the wrong house and ended up killing an innocent family.

The REAL drug house was literally right next door. How could the cops fuck that up so badly? There better be hell to pay for this. It will be interesting to see if the cops go after him to keep him quiet, like a few of them have done in the past.

More details in a phone interview with NNH. Sounds like the police may have made some big mistakes. Some conjecture but some facts, too.

Looks like a detective in plain clothes was first through the door and shot the home owners' Rottweiler with a shotgun. Homeowner, who was in the kitchen, fired back with a .357 revolver. He fired 6 shots and hit 4 officers. The wife supposedly crossed the line of fire to get the downed officer's gun and was killed even though there were 2 shotguns in the bedroom she was in.

As I mentioned before, one officer has been put on paid leave. NNH and Channel 13 in Houston are continuing their investigations.

Personally, I find it hard to believe there were no body cams on any of the officers and there's no video of the incident. This is Houston, not some small town.

Update on the Houston shooting. Shocking info. The officer who was suspended had his car searched. His phone has been seized. Police found undocumented drugs including heroin and undocumented weapons. The police informer said he did NOT do a buy at the home. NNH spoke with the Tuttles' drug dealer who told him they did not have the money to buy drugs. They spent $15 a month to purchase marijuana to treat the wife's cancer.

NNH says the police chief is being very transparent and the investigation is continuing. The chief says there will be criminal charges against the officer.

Houston police are admitting that one officer, a Sergeant, faces felony charges for falsifying information that led to the warrant and the shootout. Even the police union, whose president went on camera after the event and vehemently chastised criminals and praised the police, is now saying that an officer who commits crimes must face the same penalties as anyone else.

This is blowing up into a crazy story that is FUBAR (fucked up beyond all recognition). The truth being exposed is all due to the reporting of NNH, a local TV affiliate that is working with him and the honorable chief of police who is following his oath rather than trying to cover it up.

"We know we've had a criminal violation already," Chief Acevedo said about the internal investigation of officers involved in the botched raid.

Investigators returned to Goines for the names of more informants, who had all worked for Goines in the past. They all denied making a buy for Goines at the home. They also denied ever buying drugs from Nicholas or Tuttle.

The warrant shows that two bags of heroin were found in Goines' city vehicle.

An officer who has been temporarily relieved of duty told investigators he'd never seen the bags of heroin. However, that contradicts the original warrant indicating that same officer did recognize the substance purchased by the confidential informant as heroin. The original warrant is what led to the raid at the home on Harding.

"We know that a crime has been committed. It's a serious crime," said Acevedo, who is referring to clear lies in the original warrant. "When we go into someone's home, which is the sanctity in someone's home, it has to be truthful. It has to be honest. It has to be absolutely factual. So, we know there's a crime that's been committed. There's a high probability that there will be a criminal charge."

News Now Houston interviews an opposition candidate for Sheriff in a district where he feels the current sheriff is not addressing citizen complaints. He has 144,000 subscribers and many other auditor friends who mirror his channel. This one guy could swing the election. Tremendous reporting on the Houston shooting and now political activism to address problems in the police dept.

IMO, this is the way "news" is going to be reported in the 21st century. We can't trust the MSM anymore so there's an opening for people like NNH to gain market share. I don't agree with everything he says but I do trust what he says a lot more than the MSM. Especially because he records everything and unedited cameras don't lie.

Close.

Main Stream Media - CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, etc.

Sorry. I should have identified it better.
No problem, I've seen it in the trump thread for a while now and finally had to ask.

This is the first I've heard of this and am absolutely shocked at the low participation in this thread and also very angry at no media coverage of this

White. Older, around 60. I get what you are saying. I think it's more that they are unimportant, regular people and unknown compared to Smollett whose fame gets him airtime.

What struck me were the flowers placed on their front porch after the shooting. People were sad they were dead. Doesn't seem like they were any kind of drug dealers.

HPD and mayor press conference. Formal investigation has been opened into civil rights violations:

Policy change for no knock warrants. Chief or his top staff need to OK them from now on.

Body cams will now be worn with SWAT operations and warrant operations across the city.

News Now Houston, Earl David Worden, has been arrested in Texas. The arrest was for a warrant out of Harris county which is Houston. NNH has been investigating the raid by police officers and shed light on a raid that had serious issues.

Take this with a grain of salt but some very small sites are reporting the arrest was for sexual abuse of a child back in the '80s or 2002. No idea if this is accurate or not.

NNH was at the police union a couple days ago with a metal pot and a stirrer. The president of the union went on camera after the shooting and attacked anyone who goes after cops. He said words to the effect that they would be watched and gone after if they were stirring the pot. Nobody came outside at the police union.

NNH was also inside one of the Houston police stations with his pot and stirrer talking with officers on that same day or the day after. There were a dozen officers around and he was not arrested there. The arrest came in another Texas town where NNH was videoing.

We'll find out in a day or two if the warrant is for this crime or something else. Could be legit or could be retaliation for NNH's reporting and chastising of the union president.

I'm seeing reports that there was no warrant and the whole arrest was bogus. I suspected as much since I've seen David over the years get arrested many, many times as retaliation for what he exposes. You can't tell me that never discovered this "warrant" during all those other times.

It's pure retaliation this time, just like all the other times. Corrupt cops don't like to be exposed and will abuse their positions to silence anyone who tries.

But these tyrants never learn. David will sue the living shit out of them and win, just like he's done before to the others. This isn't his first rodeo.
