I'm not opposed to a ferd motor. Just don't wanna pay for one. I have gm stuff "in stock". Also it's not a real Slobra. Just an old fox. The return isnt there versus the outlay.
Between this weather and work trying to kill me it's only been a few hours this week to tinker with this thing. This side is how it should have been smoothed, a little more welding and lots of sanding and grinding, this side will be done.
Lots of welding and grinding. Not much else. Firewall is all smoothed and all rust cut out. There was mice in both of the door pillars/rockers causing a few holes. All cleaned up now.
Things like always with me have spiraled out of control. I have been cleaning/sandblasting/painting about everything. As of right now it's going to have a TKO600 5 speed. I got my hands on a 140mph speedo so I redid the cluster and turned it to 0 miles, as I never asked/didn't care what the car had. I'm rebuilding the power seat tracks because they are like normal broken. I think I have all of the interior now, all black/dark graphite. I think I only need a hatch under cover, my deadbeat friend claims to have several. I just got motor mounts and headers so soon I will fit it all with the stock blasted k member.
A small example of my OCD. Cleaned ,painted and rebuilt wiper motor. Then hybrid fox body/94-00 pedal assembly. That gives me a (any) clutch pedal and spread the pedals apart so anybody with bigger than size baby feet can drive it and not hit 2 pedals at once. Also foxes use plasic spacers to mount brake booster/master later moostangs use steel bushings. Last is the maximum motorrsports steering shaft, cleaned up and epoxy painted. Thanks BADAZZTEALCOBRA!
I also forgot the above pedal box allows hydroboost to bolt on to a fox instead of having to get a big money kit or change out to an aftermarket non matching clutch pedal. OCD says no to that. I also have a hydraulic clutch conversion as I hate the Quadrants/cable set up.
