so you want 3000K or 4300K bulbs? i'd say 4300K or 5000K would be best. 3K would be too yellow IMO. check out the group buy on clubgp. thats where i got mine for like $60.

So is 43k the whitest or is 6 the better one to have

It's 4300k, not 43k. Big difference. 4300k and 5000k will be pure white light. This is what all the OEM manufacturers use. The reason you see blue or purple colored light is from the diffraction of their projector lenses.

6000k will have a little hint of blue to it, and IMO looks the best if you arent using projectors and want the color to the light.
