well so far so good, didnt break anything and drove it up and back with no problems... ran damn near the identical time as last year but at 12 psi and 16* (last year it was a 12.45 at 116.7 at 14psi and 14* iirc)
kevin has the slips but i believe it was 12.4x at 115.5
turned it up to 16psi and ran lean hitting 8* kr
so we had to change up some stuff, i have mechanicaly scaled the 99+ maf but with the correct 80lb IFR tables she was at 511gps from 10.9khz up to 11.5khz....and he hit 11.1 at 5300rpm
flashed it at 20% "smaller" IFR (higher numerically in DHP) so we're at 511 at 11.5khz and borrowed tommygloves afc to scale it back to 95% to regain some freq headroom.
that 8* really scared him so he was pussyfooting it even though it was still fat up top
last couple runs showed we were on the right track but i have a feeling that at 18 and closer to the 6400rpm wot shifts she's gonna be all outta room...so im gonna rescale the IFR further and retune for the afc at 85/90% for sunday.
since we'll be taking the dooly and tow dolly to byron, i may be going sat evening and camping overnight...be ready to run first thing in the mornin so i can flog it before kevin shows up
time to find the next weak link that ill have to fix
