Even on stock tires and that big azz turbo? What way are the tires gonna get busted loose? Brake boostin at 100? Or stompin on it at 100? With the boost turned up to 22+ I could buy it. Fwd cars suck on traction as we all know. After riding in my buddies srt4 doin burnouts until 120ish I could believe anything.

I'm just glad I'm not saying anything about spinning tires to 100+ and whatever happened on monday night... I said my piece about when I was driving on monday, I could care less about that showing off the car a bit.

You want a race video, we'll get some friday night, along with some times. If the car runs 11s awesome, if the car runs 12s then something is wrong, if the car runs 13s then I'm gonna go to brat stop and get fucked up.

Either way we know what the car puts down on a conservative tune *with issues that should be fixed now*, so at teh very least it should be in the 11 with a launch, as seen from the last track day on 15 psi, let alone how the car is now.

Trust me guys, friday can't come soon enough!

Triangulate some broomsticks with duct tape between the subframe and control arms...problem solved.

Just weld the steering rack, ball joints, control arms and diff all together solid. then have a team at the end to turn the car around for the return road.

move the steering rack to the back wheels...that should take care of that issue.

well so far so good, didnt break anything and drove it up and back with no problems... ran damn near the identical time as last year but at 12 psi and 16* (last year it was a 12.45 at 116.7 at 14psi and 14* iirc)
kevin has the slips but i believe it was 12.4x at 115.5
turned it up to 16psi and ran lean hitting 8* kr
so we had to change up some stuff, i have mechanicaly scaled the 99+ maf but with the correct 80lb IFR tables she was at 511gps from 10.9khz up to 11.5khz....and he hit 11.1 at 5300rpm
flashed it at 20% "smaller" IFR (higher numerically in DHP) so we're at 511 at 11.5khz and borrowed tommygloves afc to scale it back to 95% to regain some freq headroom.
that 8* really scared him so he was pussyfooting it even though it was still fat up top
last couple runs showed we were on the right track but i have a feeling that at 18 and closer to the 6400rpm wot shifts she's gonna be all outta room...so im gonna rescale the IFR further and retune for the afc at 85/90% for sunday.
since we'll be taking the dooly and tow dolly to byron, i may be going sat evening and camping overnight...be ready to run first thing in the mornin so i can flog it before kevin shows up

time to find the next weak link that ill have to fix

1/8 8.026 at 94.46 1/4 12.141 at 120.06 1.99 60' 15 psi 16* he didnt hit wot till he got into 3rd... we need to be able to limit boost through 1st n 2nd

one run had him at 8.089 at 96.51 in the 1/8th but we started having it breakup once it got down to 3/16ths of a tank, WB was dead nuts with the commanded until then when it started showing pretty lean and hit as much as 7* kr

Indeed. Gotta get hardcore with it. what kind of 60's was 10sec runnin? I would think a 1.7 is easily possible on HK's tire set-up. Which puts him nicely into the 11's on 15 psi. Could get a bit nasty with around 22-24psi. If running it is tough now, I would think a pricey boost controller would be well worth it in the end. Benefits from that would seem

10sec's car went faster with less mods and fancy shit, I don't see why this car cannot do the same thing if not better, without the use of an EBC.

There is def a fueling problem, we had to pump some of HK's fuel out, and we discovered that the Pump moves fuel faster than the Venturi can fill the canister.... We already decided the free/super cheap fix, then get the rear brakes fixed and back to the track in a few weeks
