Save yourself the cash and just get an LG. Sony's OLEDs are priced crazy high.

Though, thats only 5-600 more than the LG C9, so not HORRIBLE.

Im sure it's a stupid question, but for some reason when I compare the Sony and the LG, it doesnt show a refresh rate for the LG.... Is that not a thing anymore with the OLED screens?

Usually I spend the extra money for the Sony name because I'm a Sony Nutswinger, but the top LG is $1k less than the top Sony....

Is SuperBowl time still the best TV deals?

Do some reading through here to get a grasp on everything.

And ya, I imagine we'll start seeing some killer deals soon.

If you're ever in Elgin and want to check out the OLED, let me know. I'm usually around.

Can you guys post pics of your TVs. Entertainment systems? Just want to see how high on the wall. They are. I think there's a thread. I cant find it.
I dont want it too high. and I'm sure you have like a nice cabinet below it for the cable box, xbox console, etc...
From floor to the center of my tv, its about 55". Gives me a comfortable viewing angle from the couches.

Thanks for posting your setup Mook Mook

Heres my current setup with a 40“ Samsung. There’s amother chair next to my TV right now I can move over too. And a closet to the left of the chair.

I live in a nice townhome. Where would you guys put the new 65” tv? Where my current one is?

Or move furniture around, and put it where the couch is. But it’s a big wall. Theres A lot of space left.

75” Samsung QLED Q6F 4K
We replaced an old projection TV. We looked at a bunch and decided on this one at Best Buy. It was on sale and then a couple of weeks they dropped the price again but they price matched us so we got for $2200. I negotiated for 3 years 0% but we almost paid it off. JBL sound bar with sub rocks the house. We stream music, my kids watch YouTube, video games. We have seen a couple of 4K movies with my sons Xbox and literally blew our minds. We use it. My wife found the cabinet on FB marketplace for a hundo

honestly,go as big as you can as room allowed..Make this your last TV...I thought my 55" was good enough...(small room)...hate to say it...but bigger is better
allow budget $$$ for cables/install/wall mount or stand etc...be prepared..it will cost you $$..we all been there

I also had it " calibrated".....thats a whole different story to tell...
Calibration was impressive.....thats why the Tv's look so impressive on display....

I should make a thread on Calibration...it was impressive
In Conclusion....go as big as room allows...I think Tv's are most the same for the $$?..they all look great "in store"

Ive already spoke to Mookster about this a month or so ago. Im limited to a 55" because of space and how mu speakers are mounted on a tiled wall.

The Hisense H9F and TCL 6 series QLED are basically what Ive narrowed it down to.

What is a comparable Vizio to those two? And should I even check it out? The Hisense and TCL seem to be highly reviewed.

Im gonna guess that would the M series - if you're already looking at the Hisense and TCL, skip Vizio. Unless you're looking to spend more money, than consider the P series.
