let's wrangle this back on topic
Out of the big 3, if going Ford looks like the 2.7/5.0 is the right option (based on quick searches seems to be the fuckin unicorns)
The cheby/gmc's have to worry about AFM's and lifters? What's up with the 6 speeds?
Dodge, pretty sure I've ruled them out I just don't like them.
2019+ 2.7 F150 with the 10 speed if you care about performance, fuel economy and engine improvements over previous gen.
for 6k miles a year i'd for sure price out a 10k mile lease (or lower if it's an option, which it probably isn't). It's EOY and auto inventory has been growing even through the UAW strike, you know they want to move new truck inventory. I've seen ads for pretty solid ram incentives, the jeep gladiator was advertised at 10k under MSRP (from jeep itself, not a dealer).
Leasing can be great if you don't drive much and you can find a rando good incentive. Or if there's no incentives it can absolutely suck.
Weird ass two sets of gdi injectors in the v6 Toyota trucks, soybased wiring mice loooove in that nice comfy valley, especially going to the cam sensors.shit mpg, weird emissions issues for most generations, either MONSTEROUS cabin with baaaaaaaaaaby dick bed, or a meh sized cabin with a decently sized bed.
odd pedal feel
did i mention shit mpg?
I like it, ticks a lot of boxes, just wish it wasn't blackcap42 what's your thoughts on this?

Lariat's are usually fully loaded just due to the lariat package right?
I do t think so but I’d have to ask.Are any over 100k miles?
No such thing, do truck things! It's too purdy to do trunk things
My FIL in KY has one and it gets beat on like it's a UTV...A guy in my hunting group showed up with a 23 denali, he had to change his boots each time we went into the field so he wouldn't get dirt on the weathertechs. Looking at this truck and thinking of owning it I'd probably be the same way. Nope that's not a truck![]()
here's his old Dually duramax denali going down a path a sxs would have to go slow on.
