GM Help me decide, stay low or level V. Tahoe

Do I leave it alone and try and make it work or level it?

Soooooo I bought some take off wheels for cheap off an at4 with brand new duratracs size 275/65/18 and well they rub at full lock. For now I’m going to try and heat gun the inner fender liners some more but not sure I’ve got much more left to go.

It’s got a 2/3 drop on it and thinking of possibly going to just stock springs in back with a level block (already have from when I bought it).
Wife likes it low and it’s her whip but also doesn’t necessarily care all that much. I do also have 2 other tall SUV’s in the stable so one low isn’t the worst.

How it sits now

How it sat with half worn ko2’s in stock 265/70/17

Just looked, stock size duratracs vs these are .4” bigger diameter and .3” wider.

If it only rubs the fender liner, cut what needs to be cut. Won’t be noticeable right? If needed, a possible patch to keep water and dirt out on the inside. The new rims look way better!!

It rubbed before when I first lowered it and it’s just the fender liners. A heat gun and a 2x4 to push it over was enough and that’s probably the game plan this time too.

and I agree, I dig the at4 wheels over the steelies. Those will go back on for winter again with the dedicated snow tires.

I do love knobby tires and being low for some reason but buying these with duratracs was cheaper than buying stock size ko2’s again

So some heat gun action and some zip ties and we’re back in business. Drivers side was rubbing more than passenger. Doesnt help that the bumper cover moves around quite a bit because of the shit hacked up underneath from its former Baja days.

Needs more low. And 22s

I have stock springs for the rear if you decide to go that route. But I wouldn't.
