HAWK DTC 60 sparks

So I put on some Hawk dtc-60 pads front and rear for my track day at Blackhawk on Saturday. I went out late to bed them in and was kinda shocked by the shower of sparks coming out.
I guess my question to anyone that has run these is does this lesson up? While it looks really cool, throwing fire from my wheels is not the kind of attention I’m looking to attract.
I’m not sure if this is visible during the day.

That’s exactly how I felt. Then proceeded to light up archer ave with Roman candle light show for 15 minutes ?
Almost went back for my fire extinguisher.
Apparently this normal for high metallic content brake pads.

For track days (motorcycle) we used to get sliders (knee pucks) with titanium rods in them. When you put your knee down you’d throw off a shower of sparks.

They kind of don’t allow that anymore ?

by this chart they are on the more extreme temperature edge -

that being said i'm still not so sure about the sparks lol. never seemed to notice or have that myself. i ran carbotechs for a long time, iirc xp8 and xp10, not sure if i tried higher than that. latest pads i was using were project mu 999. curious if they would do this today now that they've been bed?
