After showing someone at work the xmod, I definatly plan on upgrading to li-on batteries. I was messing around about an hour before he got in and then gave him the controller and he was not impressed. Swapped for new batts and the thing was doing doughnuts.

Theres a few aftermarket companies that make them. Bit of fabbing, but should be well worth it. I heard that the RS ones werent that good. But Im not sure.

Im sure the S2 motor should be fine for now. Hopfully. LOL. I was using the 8 tooth motor for the torque, but I went upto the 10 tooth last night since I had the whole thing torn down to the frame. Trying to fix the steering by centering the steering servo. Not much luck Im afraid. :(

Not sure about the neons. Definatly wanna get the head/tailight kit. I saw pics of someone making a Shelby GT500 straight from Gone in 60 seconds. That thing was sweet. If I had that kind of skill, Id definatly make me a knock off GP shell.

Bah, if you wan't some help or ideas on how to do a GP shell it's not that hard just alot of time. You will start off with clay and mold the body, then make a casting of that , then you have a mold. Pour in some fiberglass resin, hardner and fiberglass and then you have a body, after that mock up mounts for the chasis and paint to your liking and maybe due some clear windows or interior or whatever the hell floats your boat.

BTW, get ready to be hammered tonight ;) !
