Rewatching this now that the hype of a new halo has died down.....I'm way less impressed with whats presented. If this is the best they could put together to show off the "power", its kind of pathetic.

I'm all for going back to the OG look and feel of Halo, but the gameplay also feels like a step back. I really hope they dont fuck this up.

This might end up being a One X buy for me and holding off on getting a series X entirely. Same goes for PS5.

I can see the frame drops through the motion blur they put in to try and cover it up. Not really impressive for a hardware showoff type demo.

Game looks like fun though

You can only add so much to an existing game before it gets boring and people stop playing it.

Ugh. So less focus on an actual good story in campaign mode then. This disappoints me. I don't mind online coop games. But damnit I LOVE my single player games with a great story.

Demo was apparently six months old, running on a pc and is a work in progress. Ray tracing isn't present and won't be until post launch.

That doesn't excite me at all. Just feels like Halo 3 mechanics which were horrible.
