Rockstar Games, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software, plans to announce the next highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto game as early as this week, according to Bloomberg. From a report: The company plans to then publish a trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI next month to celebrate Rockstar's 25th anniversary, said the people, who asked to not be identified because they weren't authorized to speak publicly. A spokesperson for Rockstar didn't immediately respond to a request for comment sent after business hours. No video game has driven more fervor from fans and investors than Grand Theft Auto VI, which is expected to be one of the most significant entertainment releases of the decade. Its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V, has sold more than 185 million copies and is the second-best selling video game of all time, behind Minecraft, which had the advantage of also being playable on phones.

"We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you."

So, many more years of sharing GTA VI trailers?

Man, it's been 10+ years already?! I truly wonder what has taken so long. GTAV probably made silly money, hard to believe they would sit on a sequel for so long...unless it is just stuck in development purgatory and they just don't know what to do with it.

I've never pc gamed and never will.

That's an entirely different league of nerd that I don't need in my life and I don't need to be bothering with you nerds with those questions.

Vice City is my favorite GTA ever. Remember spending hours playing that in my college dorm. The 80s vibe was so good, along with owning businesses to generate money, just loved it.

I hope the game focuses on one main character this time and not 3.

Playing the re-release the last 1.5 years... It's good, not as good as I remember.. You're just so limited..... And it's so clanky and dated... It's hard to get through, but the nostalgia factor is what it hits on most.... The radio stations.. Wowow.
