And after hearing him in the video below, it seems Adam can play well. I'd like to hear him playing like this more away from the band. Check it out at about 4:40 in the video.
Scott Lucas of Local H is another one I enjoyed seeing live dozens of times. He plays a normal guitar modified with a bass pickup in the guitar or something like that. Then he has a dizzying about of effect pedals. That is how a 2 man band could make all that noise. lol
Found a video that shows the guitar mods and the pedals. He can't even explain all the pedals well in the video. haha
Prince was a hell of as good guitar player.. actually guitar, bass, drums, keys, basically everything. Most of the time every instrument On his albums were all played by him and The live stage band had to learn the parts he played. Unfortunately his eccentric nature overshadowed everything he did.
There are tons of shredders these days too on YouTube and insta. I usually watch Stevie T and Jared Dines on YouTube. Both of them just technically astounding like Yngwie is but more modern and silly and entertaining at the same time. Nita Strauss is another one. She is the current touring guitarist for Alice Cooper.
