Dude, I'm digging the saw table! And your productivity! I've been welding crap for like 10 years and you've already created more useful things than I have. Think I'm gonna have to build a stand for my chop saw this weekend. :)

Thanks Dave I appreciate it! Part of the reason for my productivity is I am setting up a little side business making bracing for Mopars. I feel like the stuff I am making will make my job easier. Once my mind is on something it is hard to get it off of the task/project. It is a blessing and a curse :ROFLMAO:

greasy greasy have you built yourself a fire pit yet?! ?

I have though about it, but not yet! I was looking at DIY solo stove designs :ROFLMAO:

I made a version that can ship flat. No tools required. It just all fits together

Good things and bad things going. I’ll start with the bad.....the rear brace I made while pretty damn awesome and fits Pete’s Charger, has an issue with the trunk closing. The pivot arms actually run into the brace ?? So I need to make him another design :picard: oh well it looked cool, no I have to find a guy with a white Challenger to sell it to.

Now to the good.....Added a miter fence to my cold cut saw, just repurposed the me from the initial setup and removed the shitty clamp setup I used. I also fabbed up a mount for the bender and got it mounted on the DEWALT rolling stand. Turning out pretty awesome, still need to finish it, but getting close.

GD dude, so jealous. Back in the day when I had my off-road truck, I so badly wanted a pipe bender and a welding setup. I was a broke ass kid tho and it never happened.

Good for you! That's awesome! Whatcha going to be making with the bender?

I need the bender for the front brace I am making.

how hard is it to repeat a bend? Can you bend a 1" pipe into a U pretty easy?
On the welds, try a little less wire speed and play with different torch angles. You'd be surprised how much an angle changes things

I really appreciate the constructive feedback! I will try that

A 3" custom exhaust for my 71

I wish I could do 3", I am capped at 1-3/4" maybe 2" at most.

Where you at? I may have you make a bend for me for a product I'm thinking about making.
Is it hard to repeat a bend?
Also if you have a hard time getting the torch into the joint they sell different size nozzles or a different torch all together. Binzel torches are more narrow than a torch that uses tweco consumables.

I am Hoffman Estates, right off of 59/90. If you want to swing by, we can fuck around with it. Not a problem
