I would wait because of the winter blend gas alone.

I thought 93 changed too, this should lead to another thread about what exactly changes in diesel(if anything) e85,87-93 when winter comes

I can't imagine 93 changes enough to hurt anything. Plenty of cars are tuned over winter.

Might help to know your setup.

99 TA M6, 12 Bolt, LS6 with Forged internals, heads, big ass cam, intake, tb, headers and full exhaust. might swap the cam to lower the powerband a little bit and make it more streetable

I'd just tune it now if on 93. Chances are it's going to be on a dyno indoors which is going to have similar air temperature to that of spring anyway.

I would hope the tuner isn't just strapping the car down on the dyno and sending it out the door with a "big ass" Cam lol.

If your tuner know what he is doing he can get it sorted either being OL/CL tune or OL SD tune.

Hopefully he does some street driving to verify driveability.
