That's what I always did. Never had coolant in the valley. Did you follow the gospel of James and clean up all the mating surfaces with some fresh razor blades before putting new gaskets on?

Yeah I cleaned everything with a razor blade. I did put a new 180 thermostat and seal in. I wonder if it is leaking from the orange seal that went on the lower intake. It is really hard to see where it is leaking from I can just pin point the area. I'll look at it again later, we're getting things ready for the baby!!

I have no idea how it could leak before starting it. Did you break off the coolant temp sensor on the intake?

Quick update, the leak was from the thermostat cooling sensor. I replaced it today but don't have time to recheck it. Will have to do later. When I got the old one out I could see it was old and the threads were bad.

So my next step is to drain all the coolant and then drain the oil, and refill everything. I still need to extend the wires that go to the throttle body but I think I'll go to junkyard to do that. Then try to start it and see what happens.

Threads were probably just full of pipe dope, just get some thin automotive wire and splice it in to extend the wires

After further inspection I see it's leaking in 3 sport. Dose anyone know of an installer who could change the manifold gaskets and reset the charger for me?

Sounds like you have a vac leak.

Where is it leaking coolant?

From between the ic and the Supercharger. And I believe the rear manifold gasket.

I'm making arrangements to send it to zzp. I know they will get it in tip top shape and I'm going to have them dyno tune it while it's there. I'm very excited!

I don't think the price is to bad. Plus they know what they are doing and if something else needs fixing they will know what to do. I put my trust in them when they built my motor and they did awesome. I feel better knowing will be in good hands. I'm planning on sending it to them in april

Did you plug off the hole in the LIM for the throttle body cooler? Is that necessary with a ZZP intercooler? You're using a Gen V LIM too, right? I thought that was also necessary?

Yes I have the genV intercooler as well as the lower intake. I also plugged the hole.

There shouldn't even be coolant between the intercooler and the supercharger...
