Mechanical abrasion and high alkaline detergents ( not shampoos ) will degrade coatings faster.
Science has multiple test units and a control.

Oil report at 27k is healthy.
Just took a 1600 mile road trip to Georgia.
Truck averaged 21 mpgs over the entire trip.
Mostly highway, some mountain twists and turns and the typical construction / traffic slow downs.
I did set a new best mpg of 25.1
