....or should I say the Suburb-an visits me.
cdh027 contacted me about his wife's Suburban.
Interior + wash / clay / wax

Interior:
Vac
Dash, door panels and trim - cleaned with woolite and dressed with Adam's interior detailer
Leather was cleaner with CG leather cleaner and conditioned with Griot's Garage Leather 3 in 1

Exterior:
IronX ( dwell time3-5 minutes ), reapplied to some areas
After about 5 minutes, Presoak with Gyeon Foam
Rinse
Wash with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss
Rinse
Clay with Nanoskin handy towel + Nanoskin Glide ( I could tell by the "grab" of the wash mitt that it needed more than the "fine" clay mitt. The handy towel is between fine and medium )
Rinse again + dry
Polish around the driver door handle to remove light scratches + 2 light scratches over the driver 1/4 panel: PC7424XP + 3.5" Lake Country MF Cutting pad + Menzerna FG400
Wax: Clearkote Carnauba Moose Wax via PC + 4" Red finishing pad

You cant even tell there was a 5 year old trashing it. :roflpicard:

Thanks again Gav!

For having 2 ladies in the truck, the interior was CLEAN. Trust me, if all of the cars I did were like that, I would be okay

thank you !

Awesome work dude and props for doing the entire beast!

How long did it take you? I feel like I would have need 1.5 days to do that fucking monster

Thanks Jim.
I worked on the interior Friday night from 5:30 to about 7:15ish... The sun went down fast. I got everything but the driver area done.
Saturday, started @ just before 8am and was doing final touch ups all the way up to 1pm. Truck was picked up around 1:15pm

3" backing plate on the on the PC? Standard counter wait? Any weird vibrations?

I would have to look at the tag on the BP but I think it's a 3.5".
I usually use 4" pads but the MF cutting pads that I wanted came in 3.5"
So I just have to be careful when using them. Large flat spaces are okay, anything that would pose an issue I would not chance it.
I believe it's the 5" BP counter weight. No added vibrations or issues.

While I would love a Rupes Nano Ibrid, they are 500 bucks.... so I bought one of these ( 1.5" extension) and opted for the pad set:

Mirka 1125G 32mm (1-1/4") Velcro Backing Plate

thanks Frank ! :fy: :trump:

thanks D !

Thats a huge bitch! Nice.

Yes, she's got a big ass.... hung it out in the sun because small garage !
