Why bury this in the ownership thread ? I thought about a chapter...but this is not really a "build."
I will have more after shots tomorrow when I pick it up.

Monday, start time 7am, end time 4:45pm
Decon with Iron X
Clean wheels with Brake buster and misc brushes
Foam with Griot's garage foaming surface wash x2
Rinse
Foam with CG Honeydew snow foam
Wash with CG clean slate ( not sure how well this works as a strip wash but I have it, so I used it )
Rinse
Clay ( very carefully ) with CG fine clay mitt and Nanoskin glide for lubrication
Final rinse and towel dry
Drive to my parents house and setup for the following.
Wipe down with CarPro ECH2O and used sidekick blaster to blow out cracks, emblems etc
The hood had some marks, so it was compounded with Menzerna FG400 and a Lake Country MF cutting pad.
The hood and the balance of the truck final polished with Menzerna 3500 and a yellow rupes polishing pad.
Machines: Rupes LHR 15 Mark II ( 5.5" pads) + PC 7424XP (3" pads)
Entire truck was wiped down with carpro eraser
Paint: Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light

End of Day 1.

Day 2 start time around 10am, finish 3:30pm
Paint: Gtechniq Exo V4
Trim ( textured black ) @ mirrors, wheel wells and bed rail caps: Exo V4
Door jambs: Exo V4
Glass: Wolf's Chemicals Nano glass sealant

Looks great. Do you think foaming it 3 separate times pre wash is truly beneficial, or are you being insanely cautious with the paint?

Since the truck only had a drying aid application of bead maker, it was "dirty" when I started with the iron X. I cleaned the wheels and tires while the iron x was doing its thing, so the griot's foaming surface wash helps keep the iron x from drying and to some degree allows it to continue working. It was foamed twice just so that I could use what was in the cannon and finish the wheels.
The HD snowfoam adds lubrication so it can't hurt.

Got skills man! That color is so good too

Thanks Andy !
