First episode watched. It was........wayyyyyyyyy meta. I know this show has been cancelled and brought back so many times now, but the whole "we're back!" schtick is starting get a bit old

The first episode when this show has come back has never been the strongest, and it continues w/ this. There are some laughs to be had tho. I'm glad this show is back, but hopefully they got it out of their system w/ this episode.

right now you're not missing much. Like anything I feel like these episodes might come into their own, in time, but right now they're trying to be TOO current

ep 5 watched. Aside from some of the more cringy amazon moments they forced into this episode, there were actually a lotta random bits that made me laugh pretty good. Id almost say the "best" episode of this season so far, but take that for what it's worth

First ep of S12 is out. Just watched. ehhhhhhhhhhh. I dont know if its just me, but I dont remember futurama being THIS on the edge of the "current" trends. This NFT episode just.......eh. They are really digging here. This show has always been at its best when its tugging at actual emotional storylines, or leaning HARD into actual science, which its gotten way nerdy on in the past if you actually dig into it

These "current trend" episodes are just too close to the mark to really be funny right now. In a few years they'll marinate for sure, but they're not ready yet.
