So the all important question...

What have you noticed for fuel economy loss after doing the lift and tires?
I’ve only put on about 100 miles so far, it’s actually gone up

next fill up I’ll reset the trip meter and figure out the difference in tire rollout. But right now the car is actually showing increased mileage on the trip meter

I feel like I read that somewhere of others having the same increase in mpg. Maybe it’s the lift kit companies site?

I think it was on their site or mentioned in here. That the lift actually helps, it’s the added tire contact area and weight that negatively impacts the mileage.

How lifting the car helps with MPG I haven’t the slightest clue. That goes against everything I’ve ever heard lol.

Dont forget to include the inaccuracy of the speedo and odometer into the calculation too.

Bump. I’ve done zero mods since the lift ?

bought a Carista Bluetooth ODBII adapter and got the Dr.Prius app. Doesn’t seem like my traction battery has too much life left

I’m going to give the test another run today, can’t see getting vastly different results

I did the same test today. It got pretty tricky eventually trying to keep the draw around 6 amps. Brights, radio, interior lights, flashers, etc etc. I would try the test again, I’ve read about varying results. I did mine in my driveway after driving 20 miles home. Mine came back at 65%.

Also. You haven’t done any more mods...

do these :io:

How many miles on the car? That’s a bit scary…

Tint, hitch and some seat covers is all I want to get done.

That makes WAY more sense. The overdraw was probably something the car did on its own that started pulling power unbeknownst to you. All that test does is make you keep the power draw around 6-6.5 amps from “full” until the engine kicks on. Longer you go in the countdown the higher the score. Pretty simplistic test.

I hate you. It can’t disable either of those on 2nd gens.
The god damn reverse beep is SOOO bad. It does a single beep now when you toss it into R and that’s it.

there’s an option to turn off traction control too in the app, gotta figure out how that works.

the factory way to do it is ridiculous and useless.
