Bleach is actually better to use. But it’s hard to maintain a good level in my experienceWoodman's or the dollar store for 1 gallon bleaches. Just the plain old non scented, non concentrated sodium hypochlorite. Been using it for over a decade now and it doesn't add any dissolved solids to your water like the pucks do.
That’s the main thing. Too much stabilizer and your chlorine doesn’t do it’s job.Oh, and it doesn't over saturate your pool with cyanuric acid (stabilizer) like the pucks do.
literally everybody bought a pool last year, this isn’t surprising
I’m one of the poors, no pool herePost up your pool Connie

Yea but come on how many gallonsI go thru about 2-3 tablets a week in my chlorine dispenser, and some weeks I have a floater also going.
All depends on the size/gallons, usage and weather, my pool is 24" round and 54" deep. In the past when I only used 2 chlorine floaters, a 45lb bucket of 3" tabs usually got me thru the summer. Last year with the new pool, I tried a chlorine and mineral sanitizing system. I like it a lot, but I also like to keep my chlorine on the higher but still safe side. So I used one chlorine floater as well and might have used 15lbs of 3" tabs.how much chlorine tablets will a pool use in a summer?
Does that fancy pool have sand filter?I think I have a solid bucket in the pool stuff that I got from previous owner... and then i think i have 123lbs of 3" tablets coming
