I bought this truck recently with the thought of it being a winter driver. The ONLY reason I’m selling it is because it’s optioned with 4.10 gears. It has the heavy duty towing package and came standard with them and the bigger coolers. I don’t need it to tow, and everything I own lives at 75-80 on the highway. Literally selling it to go buy the exact same thing with 3.42’s or better yet 3.23’s.Selling my 2005 GMC Yukon XL. Runs and drives great. 164,000 original miles. Newer tires and brakes, new tie rods, wheel bearings, etc. Brand new fuel pump last week. Truck is very clean inside, has the removable third row seat that looks like it has never been used. Exterior presents well but does have some rust starting typical for any of these trucks from the Midwest.
Engine is silent, no piston slap or anything. It really is a great truck, I bought it from the second owner, this wasn’t an auction truck. It just doesn’t fit my needs and I did not even think to look at the RPO codes when I bought it and didn’t test drive it outside of the lady’s neighborhood.
I didn’t even wash this thing before taking these pictures. It really shows that well. Bumpers are spotless. Truck is definitely deserving of a set of rockers.
TCG price $5,250. I’ll do $5,000 on stock wheels instead of the new body 20’s.
It is located in McHenry, IL 60051
