🔧 BUILD From C6 Z06 to C6 ZR1. My new 2011 ZR1 3ZR

General Information

4 years ago I purchased my bone stock black 2008 C6 Z06 that I built up to a 625whp NA monster with the assistance of Koza Performance. With that being said I hit the point where it was time for boost to go any faster and as many of you know that requires a fully built motor. Rather than investing into this car any further I decided to let it go and I decided to move onto a C6 ZR1.

I looked at a few but with the steeply priced market it seemed damn near impossible to find a clean example that hadn’t been hacked up.

Well I found a gentlemen in Ohio, Rob Morse, (the owner of Total Performance Racing) who had a bone stock MINT 2011 Red C6 ZR1. We agreed on a price and I wasted no time getting there to buy it.

With that being said here is my new to me Red 2011 C6 ZR1 with 20k miles.

I’ll be seeing everyone at more events soon.

Stay tuned for the build. Hoping to crack 1000whp.

These cars are so sick, c6 vette is best vette.

I have to ask though...does it hurt to think about how much value this thing will lose once you mod it?
I was thinking about that. I don’t know that it’s gonna lose much value if it’s done right. I’m out of the shit out of my Z06 that I paid $30500 for with all tasteful mods. I sold it for $48000 and put 4000 miles on it in 4 years.

I’m hoping the ZR1 is the same way. Also I only paid $70000 for it. Currently this is an $85000 all day if you look around online. So I don’t think there’s any chance I’ll ever lose money nor do I ever plan on selling it… this is my dream car.

Very nice car Jimmy. You'll need at least a hundred wheel more for it to be faster than the Z06 though. I'm sure you know that the Z06's are like 200lbs lighter and have no problem with IAT's.

The pics with your daughter are super adorable.
thanks man! she loves the car... she can barely talk but at least once per hour she asks me to go see the red corvette lol. we go out there and she grabs a microfiber and starts wiping it down and then she will touch it and say "ooooh hot hot hot hot hot" and proceed to run away and then repeat the process lol. I think she sees red and assumes its hot to the touch
