For the grand price of $Free.99, this can be yours. It hasn't started for a couple years. I know some guys on here rebuild this stuff for resale. We had someone come out and they wanted $300 to get it working. We're just going to cut our losses and be rid of it. It was great when it was working.

Send a PM if you're interested and you feel like trying to salvage it. If not, I'm going to pitch it to the curb on the next garbage day and let the scrappers take it.

You can probably buy a new carb for 40 bucks off eBay and have it running in an hour or two, or clean it for free following a YouTube tutorial the jets get plugged up with old gas and just need blown out

I got a free.99 28" and did just that. Cleaned it and it sings. With blowers it almost always the carb.

The Sears repair guy said that there are other parts starting to fail that are discontinued and/or unavailable. He wouldn't even guarantee it to last the rest of the season. I don't want to spend $300 to have it break and then be hosed because the other components aren't available.

I was initially thinking that it was just the carb.

Kinda just looks like a techumseh flat head engine. You could do a chonda harbor frieght replacement.

I changed my location. We moved to South Elgin in October, so a little further west.

If I don't hear back from tinfoilhat today, it'll go to Blownbyyou and then Mr Baytchos

I'm tempted to just make it whomever shows up at my house first.

Carter it is. I should be home a little after 6pm, but I'll shoot you a text when I know for sure.
