Have a 3-4 week lull in auctions now, so, here’s the current truck inventory of for sale and drivers.

-11 Ranger. 2.3 automatic. 170k. Fresh trans and brakes. Put about 15k on it, ready to find a new home.

-05 Yukon. 5.3. 287k. Paid nothing at auction, truck is seriously so good inside and out. Was company owners personal truck. Did cheap wheel bearings and brake job, keeping it around for road trips.

-07 Ranger. 3.0 auto. 211k. Ready for sale once title arrives from SOS.

-12 C3500. 6.0. 240k.Ready for sale once title arrives from SOS.

-08 C1500. 4.3. 321k. Ready for sale once title arrives from SOS.

-13 K2500. 6.6 Duramax. 271k. Waiting on paperwork from auction house.

-12 K2500. 6.0. 278k. Current winter beater.

-7.3 is currently hiding away for winter under a cover with battery tender on it.

-85 F-250 currently a roller, waiting on the time to send engine out to machine shop.

Oh man that'd be sick.
Wouldn't be too expensive if you can find a rotted 4wd truck to pull all of the shit off of and bolt onto that one.

On the open market even a rotted early 70’s 4x4 Ford truck is too rich for my blood lmao. I wonder if a ZF5 bolts up to the 390 bellhousing. That would be one way to go about it and make it a bit more bearable to drive. ZF5, later transfer case and some sort of axle under it.

Going to be busy with this truck over thanksgiving weekend. Intake gaskets, o2’s, plugs/wires, oil change...

I was crawling under the truck yesterday and found paint pen markings for trans service, diffs and T-case every 50-60k or so, last being about 20,000 miles ago. Fuck, that’s awesome. I have never found a fleet so taken care of as these trucks. Probably why they’re mid 200 to mid 300k miles and run/drive better than 80k ones.

Picked up the Duramax today...

Flame suit on. I’m not a fan. It feels slow compared to my stock 6.7 PSD. Trans feels like a confused CVT until the converter locks.

IDK, I’m going to put like 1,000 miles on it before final judgment but as of now I’m just going to keep my gasser lol

I got two buddies that have LMLs (a 2015 LTZ Z71 and a 2011 LTZ) and I mention the trans thing to them all the time when I drive 'em, they think I'm nuts. Glad it's not just me.

Yaj Yak Yaj Yak and anyone else that frequents marketplace and forums, keep an eye out for these OEM 17” alloy wheels for me. They’re the 2011+ 8x180 bolt pattern. I want to get away from the rusting steel wheels but also want to transfer over my brand new tires.

Did the intake gaskets today. Cold start is about 50% better, thinking the rest is from it running so rich from the fucked o2’s.

These flex fuel systems use the upstream o2’s in a closed loop after sensing a refueling event to measure ethanol content. With normal 10% ethanol 87 octane in it it thinks I’ve got 65% ethanol in it, so it’s running stupid rich.
